The resignation was due to a disagreement on the audit fees for the financial year ended 30 June 2026 and internal resource allocation. KPMG proposed an audit fee of RMB2 million (a 66.67% increase compared to the previous period) due to the expanded scope of work from the launch of a new online video platform in Hong Kong, assessment of changes in executive directors and management capability, and the need for additional technical expertise. The Company attempted to negotiate the fee to RMB1.5 million, but KPMG was unable to accept the proposed reduction under its current work schedule and resource allocation. |
